Don't let the deciding factor of the console you choose be a few pixels. I bought a og xbox one and i was thinking 'maybe it doesnt get hot if it had to work less' But as i readed, seems the game will render at the same res and if you set it up to 720p it will just downscale the output but it will use the same power rendering it. Opened up my xbox one, hdmi connector was good so no need to replace that.
